The City of Penticton felt a slow down this December compared to December of 2014 but it wasn’t enough to slow down the year over year growth. December 2015 was down nearly 1.5 million in value in Residential and Commercial took it on the chin down to $389,000 from $2.6 million last year. Overall December fell $3.5 million compared to last year.
2015 saw a slight increase in overall value hitting $60,760,408 which was up $1.23 million on 2014 this despite total permits issued fell by 74 for the year. Residential carried the load in 2015 up nearly $4 million while the other categories including; Commercial, Industrial/Agriculture,and Government/Institution all fell.
