Denis Labelle (left) is the new Branch Manager of Raider Hansen in Penticton. Brian Curtis (r) who led the office for many years retired at the end of May. Labelle is the former plant manager at Britco’s location in Penticton. Raider Hansen has 10 locations in B.C. and specializes in tools and supplies for trades.
Craft Corner Kitchen has opened up in the 500 block of Main Street. They are an Industry driven restaurant that supports the local community. Their focus is supporting neighboring farmers, wineries, distilleries and breweries.
The Play Estate Winery has opened in Skaha Hills development on the Penticton Indian Band. With a south facing view it has a 150-seat restaurant and patio, a tasting room with a 30-foot bar and will produce about 10,000 cases this year.
The Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce has a new home on Ellis Street in Penticton. The Chamber purchased the former Giroux Design Group building. The investment was made possible from a previous building the Chamber sold on Main Street. The move from the Wine Center was necessary as the new casino will be setting up shop in the Wine Centre building.
